Cabinet from July 1986 to July 1988
Felipe González Márquez is re-elected as President of the Government following the elections on 22 June 1986. The Lower House of Parliament officially ratifies his investiture on 23 July.
The Royal Decree confirming his appointment is published in the Official State Gazette (Spanish acronym: BOE) on 24 July and he is officially sworn in before the King on the same day at Zarzuela Palace.
The composition of the new government is published in the Official State Gazette on 26 July 1986 and the Vice-President of the Government and the cabinet ministers take the oath before the King at Zarzuela Palace.
