The President of the Government of Spain, Pedro Sánchez, has visited the facilities of the company Clue Technologies, in Malaga, where he underlined the executive's commitment to the development of the Spanish aerospace industry to turn it into a key player in the economic transformation through the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan.
The chief executive, accompanied by the delegate of the Government in Andalusia, Pedro Fernández, has highlighted the government's investment effort in the aerospace sector and has emphasised the allocation of €2.5 million for the Strategic Project (PERTE) Aerospace to develop the Sky AI Connect project, with which Clue Technologies will implement advanced computing and intelligent communication technologies in the aerospace and defence sectors.
Sánchez also highlighted the fundamental role of SMEs in the technology and aerospace sector in the recovery and transformation of the economy, while also valuing the executive's commitment to make Spain a world leader in the semiconductor value chain. In this respect, the Strategic Project (PERTE) for microelectronics and semiconductors has public support of more than €12.25 billion to provide Spain with strategic autonomy and achieve the shared goal of concentrating 20% of the world's semiconductor production in Europe.

Likewise, the President of the Government highlighted the executive's firm commitment to the development and future of Andalusia, which in 2023 will receive a record amount of more than €24.38 billion from the financing system, 25% more than the previous year. The General State Budget 2023 will also allocate a total investment of more than €2.5 billion to the region, almost 3% more than in 2022, in addition to an allocation of €50 million to develop an Employment Plan for Andalusia.
