President of the Government of Spain, Pedro Sánchez, has chaired the meeting of the National Security Council at the Moncloa Palace.
The meeting began with a situation analysis of the conflicts in Ukraine and the Middle East. Following this, the members of the Council heard reports on the activity carried out in 2024 by different specialised committees on issues such as energy, maritime and aerospace security, immigration, the fight against terrorism and cybersecurity, among others. An agreement setting out the rules for the development of the new National Strategy to Combat Disinformation Campaigns was also discussed.
