Pedro Sánchez travelled to Vitoria-Gasteiz, where he visited the company VELTIUM, an SME and a clear example of the opportunities offered by the energy transition for small and medium-sized enterprises, in line with the Government's commitment to green reindustrialisation and sustainable mobility.

Accompanied by the Government Delegate in the Basque Country, María Soledad Garmendia, the chief executive toured the VELTIUM facilities to see first-hand the recharging systems developed by the company, reflecting the innovative capacity of our industry. The company is heavily involved in the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan (PRTR), from which it has received more than €1.1 billion in three projects under the Strategic Project for the Development of the Electric and Connected Vehicle (PERTE VEC I) and the MOVES Singulares II programme.

VELTIUM is an SME specialising in the development, manufacture and marketing of charging solutions for electric vehicles. Its extensive experience in the electric mobility sector is in line with the Government of Spain's firm commitment to the decarbonisation of the economy and sustainable mobility.
