The President of the Government has once again expressed his solidarity with the unbearable situation of the Palestinian civilian population in Gaza. He also explained that Spain has proposed the convening of an international peace conference with the parties to materialise the two-state solution, arguing that this is the only answer to the legitimate aspirations of Palestinian and Israeli citizens for peace and security.
Pedro Sánchez also stressed that Spain has increased funding to UNRWA with an extra €3.5 million to alleviate the humanitarian catastrophe in Gaza.
