This afternoon, the President of the House, Francina Armengol, will inform King Felipe VI of the result of the vote to appoint Pedro Sánchez as President of the Government of Spain for the 15th Legislature, pursuant to the provisions of Article 99 of the Constitution. The head of state will preside over the ceremony tomorrow at the Zarzuela Palace in which Pedro Sánchez will take the oath or promise of office.
The investiture session began yesterday with the candidate's speech, in which he asked for the confidence of members and outlined the priorities of the next Executive.
