Both leaders welcomed the agreement to improve the migratory situation of Spanish aid workers in Honduras signed today in Madrid by the Spanish and Honduran foreign ministers. They also committed to continue working on the next Country Partnership Framework (CPF) 2024-2027.
President Sánchez and President Castro agreed on the success of the Agreement on the Regulation and Organisation of Labour Migration Flows signed in 2022, which allowed 250 Honduran citizens to move to our country and work in agricultural campaigns. For 2023, this figure is expected to rise to 569 workers.
