President Sánchez was accompanied by the Minister for Industry, Trade and Tourism, Reyes Maroto, as well as a large delegation of Spanish companies and representatives of the CEOE and the Spanish Chamber of Commerce, co-organisers of the event.

"This business meeting reflects the shared intention of the two governments to deepen a bilateral economic relationship that has already borne fruit, but undoubtedly has ample room for expansion, especially in these times of global economic fragility resulting from Russia's invasion of Ukraine," stressed the president, who also acknowledged the commitment of Spanish companies to the future of Ecuador and their social responsibility.
