In accordance with the formula established, Pedro Sánchez swore to uphold the obligations inherent to the post, including loyalty to the King, to uphold the Spanish Constitution and ensure that it is upheld and to maintain the secrecy of the deliberations of the Council of Ministers. The Acting Minister for Justice, Dolores Delgado, acted as the Commissioner of Oaths of the Kingdom of Spain. The Royal Decree specifying the appointment of the President of the Government, signed on Tuesday by the King after Pedro Sánchez was voted in by the Lower House of Parliament by a simple majority in the second vote of the investiture session, was published on Wednesday in the Official State Gazette.
