Pedro Sánchez attends closing dinner of G7 Summit in Biarritz

There he exchanged impressions with the main world leaders on the core issues of the summit: social and gender inequality, climate change, the digital transformation, cooperation with Africa and the defence of a rule-based international trade system.

They also addressed other foreign policy and security issues, such as the question of the Iranian nuclear programme.

During the dinner, the Acting President of the Government spoke with the British Prime Minister, Boris Johnson, to whom he conveyed his interest in ensuring an orderly Brexit.

Pedro Sánchez also had the chance to speak with the President of the World Bank, David Malpass, with whom he exchanged views on the fight against poverty and the priority for the World Bank this year, including the new three-year replenishment of funds (2021-23).
