Narendra Modi spoke of the current needs of the Indian economy which he said requires "the experience of Spanish companies" in such areas as renewable energies, water management and housing. The Prime Minister of India declared that this situation would be beneficial for both parties. They also spoke about the official visit that the President of the Government will make to India next year, which will be preceded by a trip by the Minister for Foreign Affairs in January. Pedro Sánchez and Narendra Modi also agreed to step up cultural cooperation between the two countries.
