Mariano Rajoy receives President of Uruguay, Tabaré Vázquez

The visit by President Vázquez to Spain is of a decidedly economic nature. During the lunch offered by the President of the Government, the two leaders reviewed bilateral relations, relations between the EU and MERCOSUR, as well as the main issues on the regional Ibero-American agenda.

The President of Uruguay has visited our country accompanied by the Minister for Economy and Finance, Danilo Astori, and the Minister for Transport and Public Works, Víctor Rossi. On Tuesday, Tabaré Vázquez will continue his trip by visiting Santiago de Compostela, where he will inaugurate a business meeting.
