​President of the Government thanks Alberto Ruiz-Gallardón for his work

The President of the Government thanked Alberto Ruiz-Gallardón for his work at the head of the Ministry of Justice during this time and his supportive collaboration with the government as a whole during a particularly demanding period for all concerned.

As required, the President of the Government immediately notified HM King Felipe VI of the name of the incoming Minister for Justice, Rafael Catalá Polo, who will be sworn into office next week when HM the King and the President of the Government conclude their official trips. Until then, the Vice-President of the Government, Soraya Sáenz de Santamaría, will take on the responsibilities of the ministerial department.
