President of the Government.- I believe that the results of the French elections are very reassuring for everyone, aren't they? A very important debate has been taking place in Europe in recent times and for those of us who believe in Europe, it was key for Emmanuel Macron to win the elections and not Marine Le Pen, because this would definitely have posed a serious problem in the future.

After the election results in Holland, which were also good for Europe, and I believe for the people of Holland too, as were the French results for the people of France, and also for the people of Europe, a new period is now beginning that will be better, in which there will be greater stability and confidence and where the markets are now reassured. Furthermore, I believe that this period could coincide with a period of economic growth in each and every one of the Member State of the European Union.

Hence, from a political point of view, this are wonderful news. The moderates have won, the Europeans have won and those of us who believe in moderation and in Europe are very pleased.
