Differences between the DNI, the NIE and the NIF: what they are and how to obtain them

DNI, NIE and NIF documents and identifications allow Spanish citizens, foreigners and legal persons to prove their identity in their relations with public administrations, tax authorities and private operators. They are also essential for obtaining electronic certificates to carry out digital procedures.
