Spain and Slovakia will thereby collaborate in all phases of the development of conventional and high-speed rail, from planning to operation, including construction and maintenance, and other infrastructures, such as high-capacity tracks.
The two ministers initialled the document during a meeting held today at the headquarters of the Ministry of Transport and Sustainable Mobility.
The meeting also addressed bilateral issues of common interest in the field of rail and air transport between Spain and the Slovak Republic, as well as the allocation of European funds in the next Multiannual Financial Framework and the importance of adequately financing the development of infrastructures at European level to achieve an interconnected network and promote decarbonisation.
