Planned international seats for September reach 11.8 million, 10.9% more than a year ago

The total number of seats booked on international flights to Spain for September 2024 is 11.8 million, according to data released by Turespaña. Compared to the same month in 2023, when 11 million were offered, the year-on-year increase is 10.9%.

Comparing the seat forecasts in September with those recorded at the same date in 2023, the performance of the main source markets continues to be strong: United Kingdom (+7.9%), Germany (+8.3%), Italy (+14.7%) and France (6.5%).

On the other hand, there were strong increases in Poland, up 46.1%, and Czechia, up 36.4%. Likewise, the notable and continued rise in the USA (10.2%) and Austria (12.4%) continues, and the Nordic countries stand out with increases in both Finland (10.6%) and Sweden (8%).

Among the Ibero-American markets, Mexico and Colombia registered the highest volume of scheduled capacities.
