Spain has performed more than 21.8 million diagnostic tests since start of epidemic

In the last week, between 18 and 24 December, the regional governments have performed a total of 651,009 PCR tests, an average of 93,000 a day.

In addition, from 18 to 24 December, the regional governments have performed a total of 324,917 antigen tests (46,416 a day). Including the PCR tests performed, this amounts to a total of 975,926 diagnostic tests over the course of the week, 139,418 a day.

Accordingly, the number of diagnostic tests has increased by 5%, at a rate of 464.11 tests per 1,000 inhabitants.
