Spain and Italy promote cooperation in digital and ecological transition of industry

Minister Maroto explained that "the aim of this agreement is to progress with the dual digital and ecological transition of the industry of both countries through bilateral cooperation. We are going to promote collaboration and the sharing of knowledge and experiences between the two governments regarding the development of sustainable and digital solutions for the industrial sector, particularly in relation to methodologies, standards and green and digital diagnostic tools in the field of Connected Industry 4.0".

Under this MOU, the two countries undertake to cooperate on public technological and environmental policies to increase the value added of industry and skilled jobs in the sector.

Similarly, information will be shared on the industrial value chain of hydrogen and potential collaboration will be explored under future European initiatives within the framework of "Important Projects of Common European Interest" (IPCEI).
