Government of Spain encourages the parties to look for peace in Colombia through dialogue

This result must be used as a window of opportunity to strengthen the peace efforts between the government and the FARC.

The Government of Spain urges all parties, through dialogue, to seek points in common and unity that make this shared desire for peace a reality. Spain has always supported the peace initiatives of the different governments of Colombia and will remain on the side of the people and Government of Colombia in their efforts to ensure much-deserved peace in the country.
