Second coordination meeting of government following attacks in Paris

At the meeting, the various members continued with the analysis of the situation as at Monday. Furthermore, they tackled the measures adopted to step up surveillance and border controls, the responsibility of each country, taking into account through these measures the request made by the French authorities to all bordering countries. The interaction of border surveillance is to be carried out through mixed Spain-France patrols.

Finally, Monday's meeting was used to analyse the situation of Spaniards affected by the attacks on Friday night. The meeting was also attended by the State Secretary-Director of the National Intelligence Centre and the State Secretaries for Foreign Affairs and for Security.
