The ambassadors and special envoys underline the need for all parties to the political dialogue facilitated by the UN to conclude a political agreement imminently. Libya needs a Government of National Accord that can represent and protect all the people of Libya. They stress that there is no military solution to the present crisis in Libya.
The ambassadors and special envoys call on all the people of Libya to put their differences aside and sit down to talk to resolve their political differences and begin with the tough task of returning Libya to peace, stability and prosperity. They place special emphasis on unity as the only way to tackle terrorism and bring an end to violence.
