The shipment, comprising polar and aluminium blankets, latex gloves, sleeping bags and foldaway beds, will leave on Thursday by road from the National School for Civil Protection and will arrive in Ljubljana and Zabok in the next few days.

In response to this request for material, Slovenia will receive 5,000 polar blankets, 6,000 latex gloves, 20 sleeping bags and 100 foldaway beds in this shipment, while 3,000 aluminium blankets and 6,000 latex gloves will be sent to Croatia.

The coordination of this aid has been managed through the EU Civil Protection Mechanism, with the Directorate-General of Civil Protection and Emergencies as the point of contact in Spain.
